In LA today we worked on answering questions based on a reading that we did about oil drilling in the arctic. Ask your child tonight what they learned about the dangers oil drilling pose to wildlife, and also what we use oil for.

In Science, we have been learning about how we should handle disposal of organic materials.  We have watched two videos about composting, and sorted items that go into compost.

In Social Studies today we worked on our own pictures to be included in our group map projects.

In Math today we started a measurement activity about December holiday items.  We will complete this tomorrow.

Upcoming Dates:

Wednesday Dec 15 - PJ Day!  Also from 2:00 will be a Carol Singing Assembly (virtual, school only).

Thursday Dec. 16th - Plaid Day!  Also from 8:30 will be a Carol Singing Assembly (virtual, school only)

Friday the Dec. 17th from  8:30 will be a Pillars of Care assembly (virtual, school only)
