We had an awesome PJ day today!

In LA this week we are working on using adjectives in our writing, and then using our writing to create a comic strip story.

In math, we have been working on measurement, and made a winter picture using nothing but rectangles.  We then measured the length and height of each rectangle in our work.

In science, we have been learning about the compost cycle this week, and started looking at how natural waste, like dead plants and animals, are decomposed and processed by decomposers and turned into new soil.

Upcoming Dates:

Thursday Dec. 16th - Plaid Day!  Also from 8:30 will be a Carol Singing Assembly (virtual, school only)

We have homework tonight!!!  In Science today we learned about hazardous materials symbols.  Our job tonight is to find as many items in our homes that have the symbols for corrosive, explosive, flammable and poison as we can, and complete our chart.  We will be working with this information tomorrow in class, so it is really important that students bring their chart back to school with them tomorrow.

In Math we worked on word problems that involve division.

In Social we continued working on our group research project.
