Tomorrow - June 4th - Sports Jersey / Favourite Sport Team Day! Wear your teams colours, hats, and/jerseys! If you play sports and have uniform to show off that works too.
June 11th - Career Day! Dress as the job of your future / what you want to be when you grow up.
June 18th - Superhero / Villain Day! Dress up as your favourite hero or villain..mwahaha!
June 25th - Hawaiin/Beach Theme Day! Get into the tropical vibe for the last day of school!
Today we had a long circle discussion regarding the finding of the grave of 215 indigenous children at the former Kamloops Residential School. Students shared their feelings regarding this news, asked questions, and thought about how they can be supportive to not only our indigenous community, but also our Canadian community as a whole. One of our indigenous students shared the Cree words for "thank you" and "have a good day" with us as a way to close out our circle. This may be something your child wishes to talk further with you about tonight.
