THANK YOU for taking the time to meet with me! I LOVED sharing your child's learning with you! We have two exciting events planned for Fri. April 30: 1.Pillar of Care Winners will be congratulated in our virtual assembly; I will notify the winners by Thursday. 2.Spirit Day: "Students dress like a teacher, teachers dress like a student for the day." Students dress like any teacher, EA, admin, lunch supervisors, caretakers, or any adult in the building. Have fun with it! Today we learned: In LA we worked on paragraph writing - stating an opinion and supporting it with details/facts. In Math we worked on telling time to the min. In Science, Grade 3 students learned about the difference between strength and stability, and how these can be increased through manipulation of materials. Grade 4 students learned about levers in a self-guided study that included a video on our Google classroom. In Social Studies, we continued working on our research from last week. Grade 3s were learning about traditional clothing in India, while Grade 4 students were working on researching important individuals involved in Alberta's fur trade. |
